Hello, this is Obuchi from Risshisha.

We also support the football team Ococias Kyoto AC,
which has become an annual event on my blog.
Last week's game marked the end of the season.

In the Asto Engine Kansai Soccer League Division 2,
they placed 6th out of 8 clubs;
however, they were just 4 points behind the 2nd place squad.

Our player Itsuki Noda only managed to score one goal,
against expectations that he would do
even better than he did the previous season.

Unfortunately, we were defeated in the first round of the "National Amateur Soccer Championship,''
which selected who was Japan's best amateur soccer player,
following a close match that even ended in a penalty shootout.

It must have been frustrating for all the players,
even though neither outcome was very positive.

In all categories, the athletes' style of competition is lively.

I hope there will be more happy moments
in the upcoming season than there were last year!

Since it's the off-season, there aren't any matches right now,
but the players are busy with other things in Kyoto Prefecture.
