Kiyamachi-dori

Hello this is Huong form Risshisha.
This time, we'll introduce you to a few spots in Kyoto
where you should definitely go to see the cherry blossoms.

It's known as Kiyamachi-dori.
You can enjoy cherry blossoms there in an ambiance that brings
the beauty of the old city in a very expressive and nostalgic way.

The charming street along the Takase River in the middle of Kyoto
is one of the most visited cherry blossom spots in the city.
The main spot is between Sanjo-dori and Shijo-dori;
however, you can take an easy stroll down the riverside
lined with cherry blossom trees from Nijo-Kiyamachi to Jujo-dori.
There are many shops, restaurants, and bars in this area.
If you wait a little, you may even spot maiko,
or junior geisha, wearing colorful kimonos.

You enjoy this location's stunning and dramatic beauty day or night. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom along the side of the river,
shining off the water and giving off a wonderful romantic ambiance.

This street is also very close to the Kamo River, where you can enjoy a picnic
and take in the beautiful views while strolling along the river.

We currently have two available apartments, Utsusemi and Hahakigi,
both just a three to five-minute walk from our hotel.

If you're staying with us, be sure to check out this charming street!
