The recent
"Horse Festival 2024 Takarazuka Memorial Drone Show"
took place at Heian Shrine.
This year's Takarazuka Kinen was hosted in Kyoto for the first time in 18 years,
owing to repair work at Hanshin Track.

The Drone Show is
A free viewing location has been put up
in Okazaki Park, near Heian Shrine.

The temperature reached 35 degrees during the day,
which was unusual for mid-June.
At night, it was cold and popular with tourists.

Every month, Okazaki Park hosts a variety of events.
Antique marches, flea markets, outdoor events (gyoza and meat festivals), and so on.

Participating in an event while staring at the scenery of Heian Shrine and the Tori Gate boosts the adrenaline level. ^^
Kyoto City Zoo and Kyocera Art Museum are also nearby, as are Nanzenji Temple and the Keage Incline, which is known for its cherry blossoms.

Please make a stop by on the day of the event while sightseeing.
As the temperature rises, Kyoto offers a variety of distinctive summer events.
