Former Rikyu Nijo Castle

Hello, long time no see.
This week, Tanaka will write the blog.

My grandma and parents visited Kyoto recently, and I went sightseeing with them.
Entering "Nijo Castle" is like being a junior high school student on a field trip.

I was quite impressed by how the Ninomaru Palace corridor was lined with Uguisu (Japanese nightingales)
It's been a while since I've heard this, but no matter how many times I hear it,
I still find it amazing how this sound works.

Ninomaru Garden, located in the center of the city, was a sight to see.
The wild plants and atmosphere made for a relaxing experience.

On the trip's first day, I went to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in the morning
and then moved to the Kyoto Aquarium as it started to rain.
After that, the weather cleared, and we went to Nijo Castle for a by-chance sightseeing trip.
My family was happy because we were able to visit all three places in one day.

Many of the tourist attractions near temples close early, allowing you to see a lot in the morning.
We hope you can spend the night relaxing in your room.

We're entering the rainy season, but why not visit Kyoto before the summer peak?
We look forward to welcoming everyone.
