The entrance of Kyoto!

Hello, this is Yamada.
This time I'll introduce the recommendation spot,
Kyoto Tower (become Nidec Kyoto Tower on April 1,  2024).

Kyoto Tower, which was built in 1964, the same year the Tokaido Shinkansen started
and the Tokyo Olympics were set up, will mark its 60th anniversary this December.
With a height of 131 meters, it's the highest building in the city and a landmark tower w
ith a modern white appearance that looks like a lighthouse, lightening up Kyoto.
It is claimed that the roof tiles of temples and homes were created
to look like ocean waves, with the idea of a lighthouse.

It may be seen from popular tourist spots such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Arashiyama,
with the night view from the Shogunzuka Observation Deck being especially beautiful.

Located just north of Kyoto Station, the observatory offers a 360° view of the city
from 100 meters above ground, making it a popular tourist site.
There are no barriers, so you can get a complete view of the city.

For people who are visiting Kyoto for the first time and are not sure where to go,
the view from the observation deck may be used as a guide,
and for those who have been to the city,it is a good idea to go back.
This makes it a perfect sightseeing spot where you can enjoy the sunset while also
preparing for and planning your Kyoto sightseeing itinerary.

Please make sure to visit the Nidek Kyoto Tower as well as the Risshisha Townhouses.
