Kyoto Ramen Shop①

Hello this is Yamori from Risshisha.

I always enjoy sharing about gourmet. This time, guests frequently ask me, ''Are there any nice nearby ramen shops?"
so I'd like to introduce some recommendations. This ramen is made with seafood.

Our hotel has easy access to Kyoto Station; you can go by train or bus easily.

This shrimp ramen is especially recommended for those who want light ramen.
The Kyoto Station branch of Menya Hijiri ~kiyo~ is located in the Ichijoji area, a popular ramen spot in Kyoto.

Ichijoji is famous for its ramen in Kyoto, but you may be asking
why you should go there! You can eat it in front of Kyoto Station.

The soup is made with Kyoto soy sauce and several different types of soy sauce to bring out the flavor
of the oysters, clams, and freshwater clams, and it is served with chewy homemade noodles made every morning.

There are three different types of ramen. At noon, a lunch menu is available, which includes ramen, rice, and gyoza sets.

This time, I have ordered
・Hachiku grilled pork bow set
for lunch.

The soup is clear and light, but you can still enjoy the flavor of the seafood stock.
There are three rare types of char siu on top, making it very satisfying to eat.

Menma does not have the typical strip-like shape but rather a unique tube-like tip with a solid feel.

The grilled pork bowl is served with sliced pork and a boiled egg after being fully cooked on the stove.
It doesn't taste unusual, but the portion is kind, and I surely recommend it!

There are two types of ramen (Matake and Kurotake), chicken gyoza, egg-cooked rice,
and toppings, so choose your favorite way to enjoy it.

You can get from the Gojo inn to the Shichijo inn on one bus!
Would you want it for lunch while exploring around Kyoto or as an after-dinner ramen?
