Yasaka Shrine to Maruyama Park
Long time no see.
This is Ishibashi from Risshisha.
This time, I went on a break and visited Yasaka Shrine.
Unfortunately, it was a light rain, but wet Kyoto is still enjoyable.

Passing through the Enmusubi Kamisama, main hall,
and torii gate takes us to Maruyama Park, our second destination.

Maruyama Park, as the name implies, is surrounded by cherry blossom trees and covers a huge area.
During the cherry blossom season, it becomes highly crowded with tourists and cherry blossom lovers.
Rising in the center
This is the popular "Shidare cherry tree."
It is in its second generation, and its official name is ''Single White Higan Shidare Cherry Blossom.
It originated from first-generation seed in the early Showa period and was planted in 1945.
The cherry blossoms are very beautiful.

During snowfall, an amazing side is seen.
It depends on the time if you can see it...
If you go south from here, you can visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple.
It's exciting because there are various routes and the scenery changes.

On the way home, I drew a fortune,
which was ''Daikichi.''
It costs 200 yen per time.
And I mostly like the view from the top of the stairs on my way home.
It's a sensory matter, and I can't explain why people ask.
It's a bit like what you might call it.
Also, please come to Kyoto, where there will be snow and cherry blossoms.
See you then!
